First weekend of FIS World Cup 2018/2019 has come to an end. Evgeniy Klimov from Russia was the best in the individual competition which he won in front of Stephan Leyhe, Germany. Japanese athlete Ryoyu Kobayashi stood at the thirs step of the podium. The best Polish ski jumper was Kamil Stoch who ended the competition at 4th place. He lost 0.3 point to the podium.
Polish ski jumpers won the first team competition in FIS World Cup season 2018/2019. They showed an amazing shape at Adam Małysz Hill on Saturday. There was no doubt that they win the competition. Polish athletes: Piotr Żyła, Jakub Wolny, Dawid Kubacki and Kamil Stoch, had 11.1 points more than German ski jumpers. Austrian ones stood at the third step of the podium.
The best ski jumpers in the world inaugurated the winter season on Friday. 70 athletes from 15 countries participated in the qualification which was won by Evgeniy Klimov who had 1.4 point more than Polish ski jumper – Dawid Kubacki. The third place belonged to Stephan Leyhe from Germany.
Bib distribution ceremony for top10 athletes from the qualification for Sunday’s individual competition will take place on Friday, 16th November, in Fan Zone located at Hoffa Square in the centre of Wisła. The best athletes from the world come to Wisła to participate in a World Cup opener which is held at Adam Małysz Hill in Wisła Malinka.
Five official press conferences will be organised during FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Wisła 2018. Press Office invites media representatives to take part in those conferences. All of them will be held in the new Press Office located in the main building of Adam Małysz Hill in Wisła-Malinka.
Tomorrow the best ski jumpers inaugurate the winter season. The first competitions of FIS World Cup are to be held at Adam Małysz venue in Wisła-Malinka. 70 ski jumpers from 15 different countries will jump in the qualification to Sunday’s individual competition. Final squad lists and the qualification’s line-up will be announced after the TCM which will be held on Friday in Golebiewski Hotel in Wisła.
This week the best ski jumpers in the world will compete in Wisła in the winter season inauguration competitions. It will be the second time in history that Wisła organises such event at Adam Małysz Hill. 12 Polish athletes will perform on Friday in the qualification for Sunday’s individual competition.
Inaguration competitions of ski jumping winter season are approaching. They will be held at the facility in Wisła-Malinka. Traditionally, we want to invite media representatives for a press conference with Polish ski jumpers. The conference will take place on Friday (16th November 2018) in the new press office which is located in the building at Adam Małysz Hill in Wisła-Malinka. The conference will start at 9.30am.
Only 31 days left for the ski jumping season 2018/2019 World Cup inauguration. For the second time in history it will take place at Adam Małysz hill in Wisła Malinka. The snow production has started at the beginning of October. The organizers assure that all the preparations go well and the end of snow-making actions is planned for the end of this month. Thanks to the well-developed technology of a snow-making company Supersnow, the sunny weather in Wisła is not a danger for the snow production.
