    50 ski jumpers will jump in today’s individual competition

    50 ski jumpers from different countries will jump in Saturday’s individual competition at Adam Małysz’s Ski Jumping Hill in Wisła-Malinka. The best athlete in qualification was Maciej Kot who won the individual competition last year. Even though the new system of qualification is tested during FIS Grand Prix Wisła 2017, the ski jumpers will jump in the first round in the order of general classification of last winter’s Worl Cup. So that Kamil Stoch, the winner of FIS World Cup, will be the last ski jumper who will sit at the gate.

    Unexpected podium for German team

    German team was at the third step of the podium after a dramatic fight with the Slovenian team in a final round of the team competition FIS Grand Prix in Wisła-Malinka. The best athlete of the team was definitely Stephen Leyhe, who was at the podium in his group just behind the Polish athlete, Dawid Kubacki. Also the second jump of Andreas Wellinger was one of the reasons why the German team won with the Slovenians. In Friday’s team competition the Poles were the best and the second step of the podium went for the athletes from Norway.

    World Champions won in team competition in Wisła!

    It was a beautiful night for Polish National Team, the part of which were Piotr Żyła, Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki and Maciej Kot, who won the team competition during FIS Grand Prix Wisła 2017. Polish athletes confirmed their domination with an advantage of 12 points before the team of Norway. Germans were at the third step of the podium after the jump of Stephen Leyhe.

    Maciej Kot won the qualification! 9 Polish ski jumpers will participate in individual competition

    At Thursday evening qualification for Saturday’s individual competition FIS Grand Prix took place at Adam Małysz’s Ski Jumping Hill. Polish athletes were the the best, first two places were occupied by them. It is Maciej Kot who won the qualification round after the jump of 128 metres of the distance. Only 0.7 point behind him Dawid Kubacki was classified with a jump of 125 metres. The third place of the podium was occupied by Daniel Andre Tande who jumped 127 metres long.

    World Champions will fight for the victory in team competition

    At Friday ( 14th of July) the best ski jumpers in the world will participate in team competition at Adam Małysz’s Ski Jumping Hill in Wisła-Malinka. We will see athletes from 13 countries. Stefan Horngacher decided that Poland will be represented by the World Champions from Lahti – Kamil Stoch, Maciej Kot, Piotr Żyła and Dawid Kubacki.

    Norway team ready to fight for the first place in team competition!

    Ski jumpers from Norway showed their strength during the qualification and they will fight for the best results in Friday’s team event. Daniel Andre Tande (3rd place in qualification) is persuaded that all the team will to its best in the competition: - We always fight for the victory. For Robert Johansson is obvious that the team will do all the best, their jumps during the qualification round were satisfying: - Today the team seemed quite sure with their jumps - but he also admits that the others teams are strong: - Slovenians are in a good shape, as well as the Germans and Poles. Probably the Czechs will be in a good shape as well. So it will be a tough fight tomorrow. Joacim Oedegaard Bjoereng will keep his fingers crossed for his teammates: - Norway is ready to fight for the first place. I hope that the boys will jump better and better.

    Stephen Leyhe the best in official training!

    Official training of the FIS Grand Prix started at 19.00 at Adam Małysz’s Ski Jumping Hill. The best was Stephen Leyhe who jumped 124 metres. Only 0,9 points less obtained Dawid Kubacki who jumped 121,5 metres. The third place was for Adreas Kofler with a jump of 126 metres long.

    FIS GRAND PRIX WISŁA 2017: 73 athletes will start in qualification

    73 ski jumpers from all over the world, including 12 Polish athletes, will participate in the trainings and will start in the qualification for Saturday’s individual competition in FIS Grand Prix Wisła 2017. The brightest stars, such as World Champions from Lahti – Kamil Stoch, Piotr Żyła, Maciej Kot and Dawid Kubacki, Andreas Wellinger from Germany, Daniel Andre Tande from Norway or Peter Prevc from Slovenia, came to Wisła.
