This year's edition of the FIS Grand Prix Ski Jumping began last weekend in the German Hinterzarten. Polish players presented themselves well, up to four of them ranked in the Top 15 individual competition. Monday was devoted to regeneration, but today our athletes were trained in the morning session on the Wielka Krokiew Hill (competitors from Zakopane) and Wisła Malinka Hill (competitors from Beskids). Both trainings took place. In Zakopane the weather was fine and the wind did not bother, but in Wisla the storm stopped jumping for a while, but finally managed to finish the training. "Ski jumpers are healthy and ready to start the competition" - said Łukasz Kruczek.
Today we have known the official polish representation squads on the FIS GRAND PRIX in Wisla. In Thursday's tranings and qualifications we will see: Kamil Stoch, Maciej Kot, Dawid Kubacki, Piotr Żyła, Krzysztof Miętus, Jan Ziobro, Bartłomiej Kłusek, Klemens Murańka, Stefan Hula, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Krzysztof Biegun, Krzysztof Leja oraz Andrzej Zapotoczny. For the 17-year-old Leja it will be the first time in the international competition. - Today's training didn't decide about our choice, because it was taken before it. We had doubts about one name, but the biggest influance were the results of FIS CUP in Szczyrk. - said Kruczek
Polish ski jumpers won't have appeared by Thursday, but it doesn't mean that they can rest. "We are doing hard trening now and we are doing our best. "We prepare to the winter season and it is our main goal." - conclused coach.
