FIS World Cup Wisla 2016: Bibs giving ceremony

During this year's edition of World Cup in Wisla, as every year in the centre of Wisla took place start bibs giving ceremony. All ski jumping fans had a opportunity to see their sport idols classified in the top 10 in FIS ranking live.

It's the third time in Wisla's history, when Adam Malysz hill in Malinka hosts the best athletes from all over the world. This year's edition of World Cup in Wisla consist of two individual competitions. Organizers do their best to ensure the highest organizational standards for both competitors with their teams and thousands of fans, who has gathered in Wisla. On a large screen in the special Fan Zone located in the centre of Wisla there is a possibility of seeing the transmission from events in Malinka.

On Thursday's evening, after the qualification round for Friday's individual competition for the audience crowded in the centre of Wisła was prepared the special attraction - eight athletes from the top 10 appeared on the stage: the Norwegian Anders Fannemel, Daniel Andre Tande, Johan Andre Forfang, Kenneth Gangnes, two representatives of Austria – Stefan Kraft and Michael Hayboeck, the German Severin Freund and the World Cup leader – Peter Prevc.

In the event participated also the mayor of Wisla Tomasz Bujok, the President of Polish Ski Assosiation Apoloniusz Tajner and both the former ski jumpers and local hero Adam Małysz.

 

After the ceremony ski jumpers met with their fans inividually to take a photos and sign an autographs.
