Polish representation for FIS World Cup in Wisła

Next weekend a special sport event will take place in Wisła-Malinka. The inauguration of the winter season 2017/2018 will be held at Adam Małysz Ski Jumping Hill in Wisła Malinka on the 18th and 19th of November.


In Friday's qualifications for the individual competiotion Poland will be represented by 12 athletes.
For two of them it will be a debut in such an important competition.

It is also the earliest inauguration of the winter season in history. The best ski jumpers in the world will start the Olypic season next weekend in Wisła.


On Friday, the 17th of November, all the atletes will compete in qualification for the individual event.
Team competition will be held on Saturday, the 18th of November, and the individual event - on Sunday, the 19th of November.

12 Polish athletes will jump in Friday's qualifications. We will see the gold medalists from Lahti - Kamil Stoch, Maciej Kot, Piotr Żyła and Dawid Kubacki.


Stefan Horngacher also decided to give the chance to participate in the event to Jakub Wolny, Stefan Hula, Klemens Murańka, Przemysław Kantyka, Aleksander Zniszczoł and Jan Ziobro.


What is more, two athletes from the youth team will jump on Friday - Paweł Wąsek and Bartosz Czyż. For both of them it will be a debut in the Grand Prix.
