Beskydy Tour: Philipp Aschenwald unbeatable in Wisła!

The second competition of Beskydy Tour took place at Adam Małysz Hill in Wisła-Malinka. Philipp Aschenwald from Austria was unbeatable. He won the competition with two amazing jumps of 130.5 and 134 meters long. Aleksander Zniszczoł, the competitor from Poland stood at the second step of the podium. He lost almost 12 points to the leader. Zak Magel (Slovenia) was the third.


- The competition for me today was really nice. People here and yesterday were so happy. The weather was a little bit less windy than yesterday, so I think it was a fair competition for everybody. I hope that tomorrow in Frenstat we will have again a fair event – said Philipp Aschenwald.


- I feel really contented after today’s competition. I managed to perform two good jumps. The weather conditions were really good today, fair for everybody, so in my opinion every ski jumper can be satisfied of the weather in Wisła – said Aleksander Zniszczoł.


- It was a nice competition for me. I am happy to be at the third place here in Wisła. The weather condition in the trial round was worse than during the competition round when it was a nice weather – said Zak Mogel.


The last competition of Beskydy Tour  will be held on Sunday in Frenstat. The ski jumpers will perform at HS-106 hill. The event will start as 2pm.
