The best ski jumpers in the world will come to Wisła. For the third time in history they will inaugurate the World Cup season at Adam Małysz Hill. The competitions will take place in the fourth weekend of November. The International Ski Federation has approved the program of the competition, which on 22-24 November 2019 will be held at the Wisla.

 

Traditionally the competition on the Adam Malysz Hills in Wisla-Malinka will last divided into three days. On Friday, November 22nd the qualification will start at 18:00.


A day later the best ski jumpers in the world will compete in the team competition, which start is planned at 16:00. On Sunday just before the noon, at 11:30, individual competitions will take place.

A year ago, Russian Yevgeny Klimov triumphed in the qualification round. Second place was taken by our representative Dawid Kubacki, and third place was taken by German Stephan Leyhe.

In the team competition the victory was won by the Polishteam. Poles in the line-up: Piotr Zyla, Jakub Wolny, Dawid Kubacki and Kamil Stoch defeated the German national team by over 11 points. The Austrians stood on the lowest step of the podium.

Jewgeniy Klimov triumphed in the individual competitions. Stephan Leyhe, who lost almost seven points to Klimów, stood on the second step of the podium. Third place went to the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi.


Just behind the best threesome was Kamil Stoch, who only lost 3rd place by 0.3 points.
